Biography:
A native of Canada, Brenda Corbett is defining leadership development here in the United States. Along with Judith Colemon, she wrote “The Sherpa Guide: Process-Driven Executive Coaching”, a book that’s provided clear methodology and standards for a rapidly growing industry.
"The Sherpa Guide" is used as a text by executive education programs at the University of Georgia, Miami University and Texas Christian. The Sherpa certification is the only one endorsed by multiple universities.
Corbett has trained and certified executive coaches for 3M, Federal Express, Liz Claiborne, Toyota and US Bank, among others.
Brenda travels to coach at the CEO level in Fortune 500 companies, applying her Sherpa process for executive coaching.
Corbett also delivers innovative team coaching. In 2005, a health care client documented $1 million in direct savings following a 6-month team coaching engagement. Clients' awards include “Best Place to Work" and “Small Business of the Year”.
Brenda Corbett took on employee retention in the early days of welfare to work. She developed the ‘Missing Link’, soft skills training for front line supervisors, and 'Fresh Air', promoting front line work ethic.
Her degree comes from Waterloo, one of Canada's top universities.

Biography:
Judith Colemon is an author and educator who trains and certifies executive coaches. Along with Brenda Corbett, Colemon penned "The Sherpa Guide: Process-Driven Executive Coaching”, the world’s most widely used textbook for coach training.Ms. Colemon’s coaching is based on her experience as CEO for both a startup and an established institution. With her passion for leadership, she began coaching executives one-on-one in 2001. She’s still coaching, and she's a leading authority in the field. Colemon has trained coaches for Toyota, Liberty Mutual, Hershey and the National Cancer Institute.
Colemon continues certifying executive coaches at the University of Georgia, Miami University and Texas Christian. “The Sherpa Guide", is used by executive education programs at all three locations. Sherpa Coaching is the only process endorsed by multiple universities.
Her firm, Sherpa Coaching, is a minority business enterprise, women-owned, based in Cincinnati. Sherpa Coaching is the credentialing body that certifies executive coaches after their executive education experience.

Biography:
Rubi Ho is Vice President of Sherpa Executive Coaching in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Rubi Ho partners with the creators of the Sherpa Executive Coaching process, a certification program taught at major universities, including Miami of Ohio, Texas Christian and the University of Georgia, and private clients US Bank, Toyota, Oshkosh and Orr Corporation.
He is a Certified Sherpa Executive Coach from Penn State (2007), and now is an instructor for the course of study. Mr. Ho has personally trained and guided over 100 executive coaches as they develop their executive coaching practices.
He works with senior executives and organizations on leadership development and the integration of leadership and coaching into their cultures.
In a nine-year tenure with Procter & Gamble, he served as North American Corporate Trainer, Manager for Global Product Initiatives, and a was a lead Steering team member for inclusion and leadership development of Asian minorities.
Born in Vietnam, he and his family escaped from Saigon in 1975, the day before it fell. They settled in Denver, Colorado upon coming to the US. Rubi Ho is fluent in Spanish, and has a working command of the Vietnamese language.

Biography:
For more than twenty years, Sandra Thomas has worked with high-level managers to establish productive work environments. As a coaching program manager at the National Cancer Institute, she helped coaches and clients successfully navigate critical conversations and challenging situations. Ms. Thomas assists organizations in building internal executive coaching programs and the creation of organizational development services.
Sandra Thomas became a Certified Sherpa Coach at Penn State in 2007. In recognition of her mastery and advancement of the Sherpa Coaching Process, Sandra Thomas was recognized as the Sherpa of the Year in 2008.
As Deputy Director of Workforce Development within the federal government, Sandra has a background in equal employment opportunity, human resources, minority outreach and diversity management.

Bill Ciberay joined the staff at Sherpa Coaching in 2013. Bill is a Certified Sherpa Coach (CSC) who finished his studies in Houston in 2012. He works closely with Sherpa principal Rubi Ho, who has known Bill and worked with him for over 20 years in the field of martial arts instruction.
Bill Ciberay is an operations and management professional with over 20 years of leadership experience, providing quality customer relations, support, and consultation across several industries.
He has a passion for excellence, a talent for resourceful organizational solutions, and a motivational, inclusive leadership style. Biography:
Karl Corbett is Managing Partner of Sherpa Coaching in Cincinnati.
He handles strategy, marketing and client relations for the Sherpa Executive Coaching Certifications at Miami University (Ohio), Texas Christian University, Howard University and the University of Georgia. He was contributing editor for “The Sherpa Guide: Process-Driven Executive Coaching”, published by Thomson in 2005.
Karl Corbett leads the annual Sherpa Executive Coaching Survey, the largest and longest-running survey on executive coaching.
He has also been President of Sasha Corporation since he founded the firm in 1984, developing the Employment Dynamics process for HR systems design, and “Showtime” customer service training, gaining press all the way to Newsweek Japan. He’s consulted and taught across the US and in South Africa, at the highest levels of industry and government.
Mr. Corbett holds a degree in Management Information Sciences from the University of Kentucky, earned in 1974.

Biography:
Patricia is a leader in the field of executive education, and an important part of the Sherpa team. She promotes executive training which strengthens client organizations by building effective executive education experiences.
Prior to coming to Sherpa Coaching, she was Director of Executive Programs at Penn State. She has also worked extensively with the Executive MBA program at Temple University and given seminars at Wharton.
As President of her own firm, Maximum Sales, Inc in Philadelphia, Pat Gardner provided direction to CEO's and top business leaders in
organizational development and training. Pat has worked through performance appraisals for C-level management and action plans for improvement in their divisions and departments.She has lived and worked internationally, including a position as Vice President of Global Accounts with Smartlogik, London, England and lived in Uganda, Pakistan, Canada and Mexico.
In two decades of sales leadership at Xerox and as an independent consultant, Pat has closed multi-million dollar deals at Johnson and Johnson, Verizon, AT&T, Adelphia, Glaxo SmithKline, Colgate, Vanguard, and Unisys.

Katy Johnson joined the Sherpa team in 2011. As operations manager, she runs the day-to-day operations of the Sherpa Coaching organization. Her sole purpose is to find ways to make the company more productive by providing effective methods in its business operations. She has a strong leadership background and knows how to handle problems quickly and efficiently. In addition, she has great communication skills.
Katy became a Certified Sherpa Coach at the University of Georgia in 2011. With this training of the Sherpa Coaching Process, it has enabled her to create credibility that makes a difference.
Her eight years working at Brown Mackie College adds seasoned support for training and education programs offered by Sherpa Coaching and our university partners. Katy resides in Liberty Township, Ohio with husband Terrence, and daughter Katelyn.
Ted Wackerly is the Finance Director for Sherpa Coaching and brings over twenty years of strong business experience to the Sherpa team. His real world experience includes working with and for both public and private sector companies of all shapes and sizes.
Ted graduated from the University of Akron with a BS in Accounting and has experience in all areas of Finance with a heavy dose of systems and technology. The bottom line is Ted is a very quick study when it comes to understanding anything that includes numbers. Having lived in the business world, Ted understands the new and complex challenges that await today's executive.
Ted's core competencies include team collaboration, system development, process improvement, statistical analysis, business strategy, competitive alliance, relationship building, market research, international banking, technical support, customer service and hands on management. At the end of the day it is Ted's pure grit and determination that gets the job done. These skills and talents dovetail nicely with the growing Sherpa Coaching team as we prepare for a bright future in this ever changing global economy.
Biography:
Arun Kattel is the Vice President for Cultural Research at Sherpa Coaching. He has worked on a project basis from his offices in Kathmandu, Nepal, and now lives in the USA, where he shares his research and knowledge of the Sherpa people and the Everest experience.
With his Masters degree in sociology and his connections throughout Nepal, Arun has been a brilliant and creative research partner to the Sherpa Team. He's also a lecturer at Blue Bird College, Lalitpur, Nepal, and the Director and Chief of Operations, INCON, Nepal.
He has a strong track record, with international consulting experience in matters of government ethics and business development. Most recently, he's traveled and lectured in the USA, United Kingdom and Israel.
