DeCoffette Ward is a proud US Army veteran who is passionate about inspiring others. She graduated from Ashford University with a BA in Business Administration and became a Certified Sherpa Executive Coach at the University of Georgia. She joined Sherpa Coaching in 2018 as DiSC Administrator. DeCoffette coordinates all DiSC related functions for all programming offerred.
DeCoffette brings 20 years of facilitation and leadership experience. She has contributed to the growth and success of a Fortune 500 company in the electric power industry, the military, and manufacturing. She has a proven ability to coach leaders and frontline employees on continuous improvement, fundamentals, and behaviors that foster a coaching culture. She also has several years of experience as a Board of Directors Representative, Executive Treasurer, Vice President and CEO of a 95 year old non-profit organization that focuses on professional development and networking for women in the utilities. DeCoffette currently serves on the boards of Evolve: Columbus Women’s Business Meetup and National Breast Cancer Research Advisory Board.
Her diverse experience encompasses entrepreneurship, project management, strategic planning, resource utilization, revenue growth, and cost reduction. DeCoffette maintains a strong commitment to high ethical and professional standards, while also showing flexibility in devising proactive responses to internal and external conditions to make a meaningful change in any organization.
